1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DeckDrop Pro at deckdrop.live ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DeckDrop Pro is a web-based platform for hosting and sharing HTML presentation decks. Users upload self-contained HTML files, which are stored on our servers and served at unique URLs. Decks can be public (viewable by anyone with the link) or private (restricted to an email whitelist).

3. User Accounts

To use DeckDrop Pro, you must sign in with a Google account. We receive your email address, display name, and profile photo from Google. Each account is automatically assigned a unique workspace slug.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. DeckDrop Pro does not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Google OAuth 2.0.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of the HTML presentation files you upload to DeckDrop Pro. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, serve, and display your decks as necessary to operate the Service.

You represent that you have the right to upload and share the content you deploy, and that your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload malicious HTML, JavaScript, or content designed to harm viewers (phishing, malware, credential harvesting)
• Host illegal content or content that violates applicable laws
• Abuse the viewer access control system to harvest email addresses
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, decks, or data
• Circumvent plan limits or rate limits through automated means
• Use the platform in any way that disrupts the Service for other users

6. API Usage

Paid plans include access to the REST API via bearer token authentication. API tokens are created through the dashboard and can be revoked at any time. Rate limits apply to API requests. API tokens should be kept confidential and not shared publicly.

7. Plans and Billing

DeckDrop Pro offers a free Starter plan and paid plans (Pro and Business). Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Recurring monthly charges at the rate displayed at the time of purchase
• Automatic renewal until you cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal
• No refunds for partial billing periods upon cancellation

If you downgrade or cancel a paid plan, your existing decks, viewers, and tokens are preserved. New creation is limited to the free tier's allowances. We do not delete your data upon downgrade.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep DeckDrop Pro available and reliable, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime or service level. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to disable or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, upload prohibited content, or abuse the platform. Platform administrators may disable user accounts at their discretion for content moderation purposes.

You may delete your account by contacting us. Upon deletion, your decks, tokens, and associated data will be permanently removed.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeckDrop Pro and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or content.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
